It is more 90 minutes after turning off I-4 onto US-27 to head south for Sebring. I'm 5 miles north of I-4 on US-27 and plan on 2 hours to get there.
Still well worth the drive.

Only a couple a ca chings on the pass to get to I-4. Ca chings is what my wife and I say when when we pass a toll station.

Hey all, sorry i've been AWOL but i've have quite and interesting last few weeks. I was part of a massive company layoff (2,200 people out of 15,000) so i've been taking a little bit of a mental break and not back on the job hunt. I have no idea what this means for me and December but as of now i'm still on track for coming. I'm hoping i score a new job within the next 2 months and they allow me to take the time off in december. Pretty stressed out right now but hopefully this is a blessing in disguise.

I like the idea for a banner, we've thrown around the idea for years but never pulled the trigger.

Doug, Sorry to hear about the layoff. Best of luck of the job hunt, lot of good openings depending on what you need.

I was thinking of this same thing when you were asking about vacations... And then your brother will be in the area with a camper... I will say tho.. Camping spots are getting scarce ... If you want to research it, site 88 is the gathering site... At Highlands Hammock State Park ....

I sent him a message and will talk to him today. That is probably about the time he will heading to Puerto Rico. Need to figure something out. Never know how much time we have to see each other.

Ok...let's figure out this Meat Competition, Miranda and I are excited for a new concept :) So i'm thinking we can do a few different ways:
1) Random Picker such as Randomizer.org
2) We vote as a group
3) Last year's winner picks the meat category

Since this is a new concept to all of us for this event, i'm thinking we keep it simple Chicken, Pork or Beef......(Tofu? ).

Let's get some action on this so we can all prepare :)

Drink Competition is still on, i know at least 4 entires have been discussed.

Anything else we need to discuss? I hope all are doing well!
