We'll be firing up the smokers, grills and the wood pile for another great weekend in the Carolinas. The last 10 have been really spectacular. So save that weekend for some great BBQ, good beer and good times.

Check out the past 10 gatherings here.

We will once again have it at our "Lake View Estate" in Concord, NC. We are about 20 minutes north of Charlotte in Concord. Near the Cabarrus Arena.

Going to maybe have some demonstrations of who knows what again, it will be fun and educational. We have a big backyard so bring your tents and small campers. Sorry no RV hookups. This is a family friendly event and we encourage folks to bring the kids along. They always have fun. There are also some hotels in the area if you need one.

For those who have not attended a SMF gathering before it will be a weekend of relaxing, eating, and fellowship. It is a chance to meet some of the great SMF'ers you interact with on the forums everyday. You won't find a nicer group of people or better food.

Glad to be apart of the NC SMF gathering again. This year Scott and Cricket made some awesome improvements to the property by installing a new concrete patio for the smokers and adding an extra parking area. Its going to be a great time. I'll be rolling in with my smoker that Friday morning. Here's a snap shot of the area from my drone. Hope to see y'all there.

I am perfectly able to dry camp (Gen Set)... just need to fill with fresh water after arriving... Was just assuming no place to park a 33'r with a slide out...

Going to talk to wife and see if we can make it this time being we are closer.

Any pet friendly hotels near by. 1 small

Nice color on those. I like the 12 of the Hazy Little Thing in fridge as well.
Thanks. I always form a pellicle. The smoke and flavor will adhere to the sausage. These were cold smoked 3hrs and then slowly added heat for 4 hrs. Used apple pellets. The pic was before the pellicle was formed so they look wet and shiny. Used a fan to circulate air around them until they became tacky and dull looking.

It looks like a great time, but unfortunately, we cannot make it. Jenn has a broken ankle ( in several places) so hopefully, we can join you guys next year!
