Pros - Price, reliable, cust support
Cons - Wires were damaged on smoker door
I have three of these therms. I paid about $10 each. You can not beat that price for a therm that works. This therm does work. It has proven to be reliable and consistent and if there is a problem I run to lowes and pick another up for $10, not a big deal IMHO.  It has a large read out so I can see the temp from my patio door.

I have had a weber and maverick RF therm and had problems with both and wasted my money. So I got one of these in a pinch when my maverick would not work. I liked its large read out and depenability far better.

The only problems I have had is the probe wires have been damaged on the door. I have found cheap proves and wires on Amazon and I have also received them from Taylor to replace the damaged wire.

Considering the price, If you can live with out RF and see your somker from your patio or get off your toosh and check the temp. This is a great solution for a minimal cost.

Pros - Inexpensive, reliable, simple to operate
Cons - Sreen can be tough to read at night
Pick one up at WalMart a couple of years ago and it's been a real work horse for me as my primary meat thermometer.  Simple to use and easy to set.  I've found it to be accurate and reliable particularly with rechargeable AAA batteries
