Cons - Heat control. Wants to run hot.
I am new to smoking but I find this unit is very east to use. The only draw back is that the unit wants to run to the hot side. I used it on a really windy day and produced some exellent pulled pork.
Used it on a windy rainy day to smoke some baby backs....outstanding!
The unit was well packed. It was easy to assemble. I like the rotary starter. Just purchased an internal digital thermometer because the external thermometer is not reliable.
Pros - Heavey Metal, Sturdy Legs, large Somkw Pan Price

Just testing it out. I am new to smoking. Good for small family, 3 racks, large water pan, heavy metal, 3 vents two on side one on top. Wood chip pan holds 1/2 of 3 pound coffee can of wet chips. .Still trying to figure best setting for temp gauge and vents. Will buy a inside smoker thermometer. Temp ranges between 230 and 260 degrees. Just smoked Pork Ribs using 3-2-1 method and tasted great. Can hold 4 slabs of ribs.
