This is my first offset smoker and I've really enjoyed it.  I was able to assemble it with little help in just a matter of hours.  I cured it and began smoking the next day.  It's been great and I think I've discovered a new hobby!!

I am about to order this smoker from Sams Club online. I can't find any good images of this smoker. How does the smoke stack/chimney attach to the cook chamber. Does the inlet vent on the firebox seem to be enough air inlet. Could someone possibly post images from different angles of this smoker.

I have the same smoker, just bought it two weekends ago. I love the size and the offset smoke. I noticed the same hot spot on mine guess it is to be expected. Like you mike I am new at smoking, was using a small gas smoker but hated the contant adding of wood chips. I am cooking a pork shoulder and ribs this weekend. Think I will keep the ribs to the far left side away from the fire box.

You won't be disappointed. The one I have has 720 sq inches and I just smoked 6 sets of St Louis style ribs on it this past weekend. There is a hot spot on the right where the heat comes in from the offset, so you need to rotate the ribs often. I used the 3-2-1 method of cooking them and I moved them around every hour. I believe it holds temperature well and am still playing with it to learn how to keep a constant temp. I attribute that to my inexperience and not the smoker. Thanks for replying and I hope you get the smoker.

I'm thinking about getting one also. How does it hold temperature? Will it hold a whole rack of ribs?
Good smoking with it........and of course good eats.
