    5/5,
    "Well built, quality smoker...."
Pros - easy to build, easy to control....
Cons - door thermometer is about worthless
I've had my SH smoker for about 2.5 years... took a while to get the draft set exactly where I wanted it, but once that was right it's been a dream to use.

Under most conditions, and for most of my smoking, I run at about 250-265 degrees....  a flaw (maybe a feature) of my burner is that it will tend to have an audible whistle when set for this temp.

I have been considering drilling a hole in the side to add a "smoke daddy" cold smoker, but have not done it yet.....

The water bowl is small, and does not catch most of the grease..... I have the smoker sitting on a grill pad and hit it with the pressure washer when it gets too messy.....

Pros - easy to use, solid construction, consistent
Cons - havent had any problems to date
bought this smoker about a year ago from Gander Mtn. first smoker i bought. temps have been consistent and no problems getting to or maintaining temps. have done jerkey, ribs, brisquet, wild turkey breast, pheasant and sausage so far. most have turned out really good. if there was a problem, it was due to my inexperience. i would recommend this smoker.

Pros - Excellent burner quality, not too big
Cons - Runs a bit hot at first
This a great smoker as long as you let it break in.  At first this smoker ran very hot, I had trouble getting the temp below 250 in the middle of winter and with the vent wide open.  Took about 3 smoking sessions to break in and keeping it below 230 is easy.  Cant go below 200 easily though.  I did contact the Outdoor Leisure and got a new regulator, but haven't put it in yet.  I will wait until I need to cold smoke something.  So far though everything has come out great and is a super easy smoker to cook with.

Try installing a needle valve. I did on my landman and playing around on a 95 degree day, I was able to run down around 180.
