    Pros - Price
Generates good amount of smoke with dry chips
    Easy to use
Cons - Bluetooth does not work for most users.
Chip loader has to be refilled about every 30 - 40 minutes.
Will not smoke with wet chips
    Customer support is dodgy
Wood & charcoal fires are banned most of the time where I am. Forestry restrictions. So I purchased the 30" model when the local Walmart stripped the price down to $139. Right off the bat, I found the instructions and the company website to be misleading. The unit would not smoke with damp wood. But most disappointing is the fact that the Bluetooth does not work for most users. Most, 65% can't connect to it. Those that can have other problems with it. ...and the company has known about this issue for years! Their Customer support is a bit dodgy. Calling in, the answer is "yes we know about this and are working diligently to improve the app". Since so many are having problems with it, 1,082 out of 1,200 reviewers, maybe the problem isn't the app. Maybe it's the Bluetooth controller! But as an electric smoker it works. And hey, at $139, I don't mind adding some modifications. But I won't recommend it at the normal price of $279 - $425!

Not a bad smoker if you want to be able to set it and forget it. I could never get enough smoke so I purchased the add on side wood chip or pellet smoker attachment, that does better but the hopper gets too much creosote build up and the chips stick and do not drop down. This is really a beginners model although it is great for ribs when doing them 3-2-1 to maintain the perfect temp.

I have the 40" version of this. It works great and I love the bluetooth monitor with 1 exception. If you start your smoker and then later decide to connect via bluetooth, you have to adjust the temperature on the bluetooth device, otherwise it defaults to a low temp. The glass door is useless as there is too much smoke to really tell what is happening inside. I just know that my meat is inside and the temperature probe is in my meat. Don't know why else to open the door or try to look through it.

i believe this one is flawed. mines i got from Walmart.com i work good for first few smokes then came the temp spikes up to 832 or 836 degrees. i emailed masterbuilt about temp spikes and they sent me a replacement sensor and module with Bluetooth and it helped the problem i believe is fix but will find out when i smoke turkey for thanksgiving
i also own a first gen smoker without door
