    how to make Amazon cover to fit the 2nd gen MES 40

    I have the 2nd gen MES 40. I did order the Amazon cover. It did in fact not fit. I took it to a car upholstery shop and had him split it all the way around on the long side , which would be the front, top, back. I had him sew in a piece to widen it 5". Fits now and looks good.  One problem! ...

    First time I smoked I cleaned the window with ash, paper towel and water. Cleaned up easy.  I smoked 4 more times before cleaning and used same method. It was a bear to clean.

    Chip holder will not twist to empty

    I have a gen two MES. I added chips to it for the first time. Let it smoke down and the next time I tried to add more chips the chip holder was difficult to insert and would not twist to empty.  Any ideas why or how to correct it?

    grease accumulation in bottom of mes 40 electric

    When one smokes a brisket there is a lot of fat rendering and dripping. What method would catch the drippings for easy removal and not interfere with the electric parts and the smoke pan??? I have a Master Built 40 electric smoker.
