    I'm on my third smoke in one week on my new MES 40 (20070311).  So far I'm extremely pleased and trust me I was sweating bullets when I ordered it.     MES 40 First Cook

    The first cook on my new MES 40 (Gen I) was smoked salmon.  I already had an AMNPS and it worked great without having to pull out the chip box or chip tube.  The salmon turned out great!  Playing hooky from work today and gonna smoke some jerky. Qview:

    Amazon Pulls 20070512 MES 40

    I've been doing heavy research on Masterbuilt smokers for the past couple of weeks.  I was very close to pulling the trigger on this specific model but after reading the reviews in this forum I've decided against it.  I went over to Amazon again today and looks like they've pulled this smoker...

    Greetings from NC!

    Checking in from NE NC.  Glad to be around like-minded folks who love to BBQ!  I'm always looking for new equipment and new things to smoke.  My collection includes a Weber kettle, WSM, Genesis gasser, and a Kamado Joe classic. Looking forward to sharing ideas and learning some new things.
