    2nd try with the brisket

    Picked up an 8.5 lb. brisket today. Have a party Saturday and am hoping for the best. Going with the same method. Last one was a flat that was trimmed too much. I think. Rubbed it today and plan on smoking it early Saturday morning. Party is at 2 will be real early.

    Smoked my first beef brisket

    Well.......it didn't come out like I'd hoped. This is what I did: 2.5 lb. beef brisket put a couple different rubs on it. Wrapped in plastic wrap and put in fridge for a couple hours. Took it out and let it sit to get to room temp for an hour. Smoked in Masterbuilt electric smoker until...
