    I am a real "newbie". Two days ago I did my first ever Boston Butt. 8-lbs. WSM 18.5 incher, 250 temp and Maverick ET-732 dual sensors. Meat was removed at 190 degrees. It was sooo good. Thanks for the various tips. Joe

    I changed my mind and went for the notch. With a metal 4-inch disc on my cordless drill, took me about 7 minutes. The wires have enough room to slide when in the notch. Onward, Ho !

I've seen people talk about drilling, Can this be done without hurting the unit ? Also what do I put in the holes? How big should holes be...
