Using lump hickory and chunks. 250* till they are ready. Big one in front is about 2.5# and one in back is almost 2#. Nice 90* day here in the panhandle of Texas. Happy smoking! More pics to follow!
ribs before they are wrapped I like to flip them once. ribs out of foil they were rubbed with Stubbs BBQ rub, and here is one of the big boy.its rubbed with Stubbs pork rub. I'm using lump charcoal and hickory.
3lb rack of pork using Stubbs pork rub for the first time marinated it for a couple hours while building the fire (oak and pecan) because it what I have. Here it is on the ole char broil.
I would call myself a intermediate smoker. Love the site I'm live in Lubbock and smoke anytime I get a chance. I plan to start posting pics just wanted to follow protocol and introduce myself before.
