    New MES models with external chip tray

    Hi.  I'm happy with my MES 20070612 (30"/analog).  Noticed new models have an external chip chute.  Saw it in action on utube.  Would I be able to 'fit' this into my unit?  If possible it sure would make adding chips easier....a lot easier. Thanks Dave

    Had my MES 30" for about a year now. It's done a good job for me with chops, ribs, fish fillets and brisket. I bought the 12" AMNTS hoping that would help keep smoke generating.     Closed door cable damage?

    MES Pro Recently I bought a Maverick ET732 thermometer set.  Question I have:  will closing the door on the cables damage them?  I may be able to run the probes through the vent-hole in the back.....a better solution? Anyone with this probe set:  what is your advice?  Thanks Dave
