Hi. I'm happy with my MES 20070612 (30"/analog). Noticed new models have an external chip chute. Saw it in action on utube. Would I be able to 'fit' this into my unit? If possible it sure would make adding chips easier....a lot easier.

Recently I bought a Maverick ET732 thermometer set. Question I have: will closing the door on the cables damage them? I may be able to run the probes through the vent-hole in the back.....a better solution?
