    Thanks again... I will definitely be reading ur last post again and may try that sand and gravel trick. I am a newbie and have spent a lot of time on here reading... There's a lot to learn and take in ...thanks again ill try to post the pics in a little while if phone will cooperate.

    Thanks for all the info.i will use the bone tug test and yes it is my first no foil smoke. Do you sauce more frequent when using no foil? I have Ben hitting it with apple juice every harbor so. As far as the chops I figured about 1.5 hr at 220???? Never done em but gonna try.

    Hey all.. I am smoking some baby backs, today and wanted to try the no foil method. The 221 works great but I would like to see a little more tug and texture... My question is should I do meat side up whole time? Should I rotate throughout?? And also gonna do sum chops and Cornish hens....love...
