This is or might be the 1st pellet from Traeger that is or "claims to be" 100% of a certain type of wood. But at $28 for a 20# bag I'll pass and stick with Lumberjack for more than 1/2 the price.

If it were me, I would split it stack it and store it. Typical time for seasoning wood is 18 mo. And check it then. Any "green wood" aka unseasoned will put off a acrid or dirty smoke.
We have a set of Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Tri Ply stainless and love them. They are similar to All-Clad. I have an All-Clad pot and don't notice a difference when cooking with it. Have had the set for several years and still look new. I think we bought it at Kohls or JCPenny.
Thanks for the replies. I currently have soy protein but most of the recipes I keep seeing most are using NFMP. I like the potato starch to avoid the different food allergy issues possibilities. Is potato starch used in the same ratios as other binders?
Recteq 100%! I have an RT700, zero issues with it. I've owned a Louisiana smoker and a Pit Boss and had more problems than a Ford Pinto. As far as smokiness I find pellet brand makes all the difference, I swear by Lumberjack pellets. Just my .02$
What temps are you smoking at? Which model of smoker? What rub are you using? Have you double checked your smoker temps? Reason I ask is because obviously high temps will cause this. Rubs with high sugar content will burn quicker. I had A Pit boss it was very inconsistent with temps, I checked...
