    First smoke

I spritz chicken but not pork or beef, some guys do with great success. Looking at your intro post I see your in MA and using a CharBroil 430.  I haven't used one of those so I can't help you with any tips specific to your smoker.  I'm in Michigan, its pretty cold here right now, I'm guessing...

    First smoke

Hi Sam, I personally don't soak the wood chips or chunks, I have before and I didn't see any advantages.  What type of smoker are you using?

    Probably a stupid question......but

This is probably a stupid question but I'm gonna ask it anyway. Has anybody tried cooking a butt about halfway then wrapping in foil and putting them in the fridge and finishing them the next day? Would it help or take just as long the next day? I'm going to cook about 50lbs of pork butt for...

    New from Michigan

Hey all. Been hanging out here for a while. Finally got off my keister to post some stuff. I have been smoking and grilling in my backyard for over 25 years with different grills/smokers. My first smoker was one of the R2D2 Brinkmans, now I have a Brinkman Smokehouse.
