I had my first smoke and in my books it was successful.
Thanks to this forum I found my new love.
I'm just struggling to post pictures from photobucket to my iPad. As soon I resolved the issue I will post pictures.
I have read about collecting the juices in a foil container.
I am preparing for my first smoke.
If you use both smoking grids, where will you put the foil container?
Hi there
I bought my WSM 18.5" this week and assembled it.
So I am busy preparing for my first smoke ever.
I bought Jeff's recipe and made the rub.

Ok, I've done it.
I got my WSM yesterday.

I am so amazed by this forum and thinking of taking the plunge and get myself a WSM 18.5".
(Cannot get the 22.5" here).
Any suggestions or advice?
I want to get smoking and be part of this wonderful forum.
Hi Folks
As I am new here and reading everything possible to get me ready for "smoking".

I am thinking of starting my endeavours in smoking with a WSM.
So I am new and was wondering, we only get the 18.5" model in Australia and not the big brother.
Will that be suffice?
Or would you recommend to get the bigger one?
Hi Folks
Just registered and very new to smoking but very keen.
Lived in South Africa for 42 years and moved to Australia 3 weeks ago.
Not sure where to start but will most probably looking at the Weber Smokey Mountain.
Looking forward to all "old hands" advice and guidance.
