In hindsight making one of these was a HORRIBLE IDEA. Only because it was SO GOOD. My husband was shaking his head at how good it was. Meat surround by meat surrounded by meat, how can one go wrong?

SO! smoked my first brisket today! Not bad for my first time if I do say so myself!
3 pounder, brined for 1.5 hours, rubbed down, cooked for just over 6 hours, 4 of them with hickory smoke (1 hour in the oven at 325 with beef broth in the bottom).
I will defiantly cook it a lot longer next time...
Hello all! I thought I'd share this rub and the recipe for these tasty ribs. I use the rub on chicken and beef as well. I definitely recommend this rub mixed with some softened butter and rubbed under the skin of your chicken YUM!

Just purchased a Masterchef Vertical Smoker today and got right into it with some chicken legs. All I can say is WOW. They were amazing. I don't know that I'll ever use my lame BBQ again. Only one problem that I'm hoping...
