Is 48 hours to long for a rub? I need to smoke a butt/babby backs/spare ribs and chicken monday but leaving saturday morning and not coming back till sunday night
I am doing pulled pork for the wifes birthday on the 10th. I am buying a 12 pound shoulder does it matter if I cut it In half to shorten the cook time? Same flavor? More bark peices? Is there any down side to doing this? thanks
My pipe is just to the edge of the smoke chamber! If i lower it inside to the cooking rake this should bring the temp up? I thought I read that some where but cant find it.
