I've done pork butt before that turned out really well. I smoked that at 225 in my GOSM. Now I want to smoke a turkey breast and a pork butt at the same time. Do I need a higher temp to make the turkey breast skin crispy ? Should I cook the butt at 225 for a while then take the temp up to 350...
Don't have a smoker yet, but ready to get started. I've been thinking about getting a GOSM from walmart, they are on clearance for $74. It's the 3405GW model, I think it's only 16" wide.
I have seen opinions about the wider model (20") being better, but the price would be about twice ($140)...
