    Feel like pulled pork for the weekend. Put rub on shoulder picnic (salt, pepper, garlic, Lawry's and brown sugar). Also de-skinned for cracklings or fried pork skins (to be decided later). Will be going to smoker in several hours.

    Nine pound brisket

    First attempt at brisket. Posts here makes it seems soooo good. Decided to forego my traditional turkey smoke. Marinated in Italian dressing for 30hrs, finished w/ salt, pepper, garlic, a few homegrown spices and brown sugar. To smoker @ 3pm EST. Temp currently at 175º. Quickview soon.

    Getting Ready for a Weekend Smoke

    First time posting to this forum, wanted to share. Got a taste for some pulled pork. Bought a Shoulder (picnic) My est. is for at least a 13 hr. smoke (9 3/4lbs) Finished the rub, to refrigerator overnite. to be continued............
