I work at a pallet co./mill our pallets if need be are treated after assembly. We use all hardwood. The cutoffs prior to assembly are very good for smoking just may have to season them a while. We use a mix of woods like oak, maple cherry, ash.....
Thanks for the welcome everyone. I built a barrel smoker and will be finishing it this weekend. I bought Jeffs rub so I'll be trying the rub and the smoker out in a couple of weeks. I'll keep you all informed.
Hi folks, I've been reading the forum for a couple weeks now, I really enjoy it here. I've been making and smoking sausage/kielbasi for quiet a few years now. I also do alot of cinder block pit cooking (mostly chicken).
Also make jerky and beef sticks.
