    Ribs & chicken this weekend

    I have seen that chicken is supposed to be smoked at a higher temp, but I'm planning on smoking a few slabs of ribs & some chicken quarters this weekend. Will it be ok to do it all at 225 or so? I am planning on brining the chicken before it's smoked. I'll be sure to post pics!

    Getting a hog butchered....what cuts?

    In the next 2 weeks or so (gotta wait for it to finish getting fat) we are going to get a whole hog butchered. What all cuts do I need to ask for? I don't want to end up with just a ton of sausage & bacon. It's live weight is going to be around 250. Thanks for any help.
