    flame consuming the smoke

    My set up works great for cold smoking, but when I try to use it while hot smoking the flame 128293 consumes most of the smoke. I have the smoke coming in about 5 1/2 inches above the flame. What can I do to help this?

    Did an early St Pattys smoke yesterday, jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese, mozzarella, extra sharp cheddar, bacon bits, fresh clams, bread crumbs, minced garlic, chives and spices. Smoked for 2 hrs at 225 with a mix of hickory and peach wood

    New guy from willamette valley Oregon

    Hello from the Pacific NW. I've been lurking SMF for close to a year and figured it was time I joined. I've had many different smokers over the years, currently I'm running a Smoke Hollow 38" and I love it. I've permanently added dutches baked beans to my menu.
