    Temp probe question.

    I set up a PID temp control for my smoker.  It works fairly well. My question is that it came with a rubber coated NTC sensor.  I want to have a metal sensor inside the unit.  I read somewhere on this forum that I need a K type probe. So, I got one off ebay.  Well it dont work.  all I get is EEE...
