It is indeed a 250 gallon propane tank. It was 94 inches long over all. 30 inches round. I found it on Craigslist fir 150$ it was used as a air tank for a sandblasting Co fir 10 years after they got it used.
Last year I built a new 250 gallon reverse flow.
Have done 12 events with it do far.
ribs from this week
115 lb whole hog last week.
couple of fatty
Pot luck dinner at work.
Been there before, I had two stuffed burgers and two chicken halves staying "warm" in the grill last summer. They got forgoten untill 9pm when I went out to check the propane valve...... Oh well was all I could say at that point because it had been past the 4 hour mark of sitting in the danger...
Well the masterbuilt 40" is wider and taller. And works well.

Just a thought.
Welcome to the most addictive forum on the web!
I also pass through your area my self and a group of friend hunt whitetails in Newfield, NY. We stay in the Glenn at Seneca Lodge for a week each year. I bring the Master built electric with me and let it cook meals while we hunt
I would hold them wrapped up in the oven at 150-160 for 4 to 5 if you can.....maybe roll the heat back up to 185 for the last hour?...then into the cooler for the rest of the time.
"If you are to the west of the eye of the storm damage should be less."
We are on or just west of the predicted eye of the storm. They are calling for 5 to 10" of rain maybe as much as 12" in some places local. Far enough inland wind should be no big deal, but rain is going to be bad!
Here in western mass they are calling for 6 to 12 inches of rain......so here is the plan.
Well I try to have 5 to 10 gal drinking water on hand, cans of meat and veggies. Box mac n cheese, cans of soup. have a freezer with about a week worth of meet and other provisions in, plan on using that...
