We do what crazymoon does. We cut up pork but and grind in with it. Is it a yellowish brown color gel? I have personally never made a stick of dear sausage that did not wrinkle. All we do is pull them out of the smoker and let them hang in a cool room over night. We also take our sausage to...
Whenever I do chicken legs I run the smoker at 300-325 and drop a fist size chunk of hickory on the coals right as I put the chicken on and it usually takes about 1.25 hrs and I have had a couple times that it was over smoked but never bitter. I assume the wings will take smoke faster so I will...
Thanks for the info guys! I was going to do one with Jeff's, one with Plowboys and one with Money but I think I will just jump right in and do them all with Jeff's so it takes the guess work out of which butt is which when I get into the beer a bit much (I have seen me do it before hah).

I assume they are not like steak...best when cooked medium rare? Hahah Never cooked or even ate beef ribs. Hope to give it a try one day.
What type of wood do you use with them? We are having a party tomorrow and doing pork butts and thought about doing some of Jeffs wings and I have never...
I got tired of reading recipes and posts where it says "apply Jeff's rub..." so I broke down and bought it to see what all the hype is about plus I really want to try his honey BBQ wings where you soak them in buttermilk . My question for now is does this rub go good with pork butt or will it...

I'd say there are some things swimming around in your blood stream from that stuff haha.

I think this is the right place to post this so here goes. I typically read a lot of success stories and I am in no way trying to brag but I have had quite a few myself and can say a lot of them came from advice here. I thought it might be fun to hear about your biggest epic failure. Ones...
As far as the pan goes, that pan is just a dollar general pan with holes drilled in it. I would say the foil thing would work just fine. We just used that pan so it wouldn't swim in the ridiculous amounts of juice that beast put off. Good luck!
Thanks! I highly recommend the fries for...
I forgot to follow up on this. I hit the wire with a torch and it burned off normal. It just started glowing red. Keep bmaddox's advice in mind though when finding your wire if you do this method. Thanks!

Thank ya sir! Just remember if you try it use a perforated pan. Turns out pretty awesome!

Thanks joe! My buddy's wife was not happy that we were going to smoke it because she said it will dry it out real bad. It was unbelievably juicy and she said she will never do another in the oven. Can't wait to do another one. Maybe next time I'll have enough for left overs hah. My buddy...
Thank ya! I was hoping there would be some leftovers but people kept stopping by and eating lol. Ended up being two slices left so I reckon I wasn't the only one that like it hah. For the fries I just used a 2 lb bag of crinkle cut and got the smoker up to 325 and threw on apple wood. I cooked...
So we got into the beers pretty heavy on Friday night and decided to do a meatloaf on Saturday so I thawed out 9 lb of ground beef and away we went. I'm not real sure what the recipe was because my neighbor just started throwing stuff in the bowl.
Here is the 9 lb beast goin in the smoker...
