    never soak pellets, they swell up. I used pellets more than a few times on my MES, they worked very well.

    Just bought an Amerique. My wife put her foot down, (finally)! I was getting ridiculous, I had 2 40" MES, a Komodo, 6 rack digital Bradley and a Cookshack 008 and a Cookshack 009. Just sold all but the Komodo and replaced the electrics with the Amerique. Really like the Cookshack products.

    I've owned MES. Bradley, Komodo and Cookshack smokers. If you can afford the extra money, I'd go for a Cookshack. Head and tails over any other electric I've seen.
