    Ewan, Q is short for barbecue. Basically anything we cook outside over coals...Well, the easiest way to understand it is look on Wikipedia. Q-view is just pics of your smoke. The more the better.

    Just put the Maverick meat probe in. Breast IT 147. I think I'll go to 155 before I move it to the Weber. Wifey went shopping this morning so she is behind schedule cooking the easy stuff to go with the turkey.

    I feel your pain Bear, I've seen snow before. I'm not having that problem today, although it has dropped down into the 60's today from about 80 yesterday. A shot from the front door: My problem today is rain. This is how I'm having to smoke my turkey today:

    The easiest way is to use spray-on cooking oil such as Pam (I used spray-on canola). Coat all the interior surfaces and run the smoker hot for about 3 hours.
