Mine is also the Gen 1, with the controller on the top back. I gave it another try and it seems to be working just fine now. I'll give them a call tomorrow just to see what they have to say. Maybe it was just a bit too cold out yesterday.- MikeD.

I'm in MN, it was -17 when I started. I have had several smokes in it, at least one other at below zero temps. I noticed it about 4 hours in. I didn't use a water pan since I was using an amnps. I took off the control panel to wipe up the fluid, and it seemed as if it had come up from under...- MikeD.

Hi all, just joined the forum today and look forward to all of the advice everyone has to offer. I am currently using an mes 30 with an amnps.
