I have used heavy foil to block the wind- but it’s more to keep the heat on the Blackstone rather than to block or protect the shelf. None the less it works both ways and is easy
neither of the stores had file’ so I guess I gotta order some, so added some okra when it was almost done. Served over rice and with cornbread, and hotsauce. Thanks for lookin!

Got to work this week on putting some of my wild game to good use. Made 10 lbs of goose and another 10 lbs of deer summer sausage. Also made 10 lbs of brats. I was real happy how it turned out thanks to all you alls help over the years….
