    Hi! Have the old MES 40 inch I got last may.. To use the amps I leave. My vent wide open and also run my maverick thru the vent. I also leave my chip tray pulled out intil I know the amps is well lit then slide it back in. Have fun!

    Help! bad weather coming for thanksgiving and my smoker is out in the open :(

    I am wanting to smoke my 17 lb turkey and my precook spiral ham for thanksgiving on wed. We are expecting snow/ice rain tues and wed. my masterbuilt smoker sits on my deck... With this storm coming how should I handle this? I can't move my smoker :(

    So far so good.. My first smoke since I am sick with a sinus infection. Got the old version MES 40 last week. The one that bear has. :) I have some q-views so far as it has stalled at 165 for now.. I did sweet potatoes also. How do I post q-views?

    I ordered them and have them but have not used them yet.. I'm sick but I am going to go for smoking a 7 pound pork shoulder tomm if I feel like it and I will post q-view and results.. I also got the grill mats from QVC at the same time.. They are good up to 450 so I bet they would be good for...

    Just got my 40 inch MES old version.. Burning off fumes now... ;) :grilling_smilie: Checking temps with oven thermometers on each rack.. So far.. Go good :)
