Damn.... Do Y'all Think They're Safe?
GMC2003, Hit it on the head... AS Long as there Whole and Intact you can run by the rule of 40 to140 in 4 hours (4,4,4 rule) and that would be first 1/2-3/4 inch of meat. IF you had poked it with an injector then this rule becomes VOID...(for the 1/2-3/4 in part) On a side note and 20/20...- dougrkyle

UPDATE... after 15 days my grinder did ship I have received it and have run 15lbs through it without issue. So far I am very happy with it and its quality. Dealing with a company that says IN STOCK when I ordered and not shipping for 15 Business Days(3 weeks) does concern me for product...- dougrkyle

So 11-25 I pulled the trigger, Bought a .5HP dual Grind from MEAT Your Maker and a meat mixer from another vendor. Come Monday morning I get a shipping notice for my meat mixer and it shows up on Wed. Come Thursday NO word from MYM. So I send an email to customer service, and also start...- dougrkyle

Sausage making session - butt to freezer
Thanks for the insight, I didn't realize how much of a difference there was in pricing by region. Its usually around 1.69-1.89 in SWFL with Winn-Dixie doing a .99 sale, (limit one) every 3-6 months. Since I just bought a grinder I guess I'm going to have to go through the checkout 10 times... -

Can I ask if you would share how you are getting it down to .88 cents a pound? Around me the best I can do on sale is around a dollar for a bone in butt. Thanks Doug
