    Brisket problems

I need some help with my briskets. I’ve done a few and haven’t had a decent one yet. I follow the directions on smoking meat.com but they haven’t turned out good. 1 was tough but I know I didn’t cook it long enough. The next one was tender but dry. It was more like roast beef than brisket. Gets...

Need more smoke in electric smoker

I kept refilling the wood chips every hour but there never seemed to be much smoke. Looking through the glass door it looked like an oven-shouldn’t it be really smoky so you can’t see in there? I did order a pellet tube today. The pork turned out nice and tender but no smoke flavor

    Where’s the smoke flavor?

I’m looking for some advice you might be able to help me with. My girlfriend just bought me a masterbilt electric smoker. I had an old propane one that rotted out. Need more smoke in electric smoker

My girlfriend just bought me a new electric smoker as I am fairly new to smoking. It seems to go through the chip tray in an hour or so but I do not get much smoke flavor. What am I doing wrong?

    Need stronger smoke flavor

Thanks for all of the good ideas. I will try some different wood and possibly brine them first next time.

    Need stronger smoke flavor

I used apple wood. Cooked them at 225 degrees, and used a double door smoker.

    Need stronger smoke flavor

I smoked 5 chickens today, and they were cooked perfectly. They came out nice and juicy, with a nice dark outside color. Although I had lots of smoke the entire time, it hardly got into the meat. Would brining them first give me  better smoke penetration for a stronger smokier taste, or what can...
