Some of the links on this forum allow SMF, at no cost to you, to earn a small commission when you click through and make a purchase. Let me know if you have any questions about this.
If you get a used unit, make sure it is a really good deal. Their site specifically says that the warranty is Non-Transferable. I only say that since a warranty was a huge factor in my purchase decision for my RT-700.
Well it finished after about 10 hours. I had to turn it up to a out 270 to finish it for dinner today. Not all that thrilled with the result, but was still "okay" to me. Next time I may try a spritz or a water pan. Never actually used those methods before but always willing to try something new...
I just cant stop turning this thing on. So far this rt700 has been turning out delicious food. First run was a couple tri tips. Did some pork ribs yesterday and tossed on a 7.9 lb butt this am for dinner.
Can't say anything about the Yoder, working on my second cook with my new RT700 and I am sold so far. Had to contact customer service and was blown away by their commitment to the customer after the sale too. today I threw on some ribs and bought some whole chickens and small pork butt to do...

Wasnt much available so just grabbed a couple Santa Maria Style Tri...

I just recently went through this dilemma myself. Over the years I have had up to 5 grills/smokers all with different purposes and such, but have since moved to a house with a much smaller lot and trying to simplify things. Through my research I ended up on the Rec Tec line of pellet grills and...
I literally hit 'purchase' on a RT 700 this morning (maybe 3 hours ago). I scoured the web for about a month and the only things I really found that were "bad" about it was a couple people not getting it hot enough. They were using just flavor wood though and from what I read you needs a blend...
Well @sandyut , your response timing was impeccable. I literally just hit submit on a grill, cover, pellets, and mesh mats and came here to say I bought one. Went all in on the RT-700 as well. I am stuck somewhere between giddy and holy s* I just spent how much on all this?
I am sure I will be...
