    Did you sell your gasser after buying a pellet grill?

    I kept the Weber Genesis and use it often. We still prefer grilled chicken and our steaks seared at 600*. The Pit Boss is for slow cooking for us. 5 hours for ribs, 6-8 hours for a Pork Butt, etc. I still like the speed of the Weber and the low and slow of the Pit Boss. Best of both worlds.

    Like you I have been a stick smoker for years, also a newbie to pellet smokers. I got to where I was only using the stick smoker on occasions that I "felt" like attending the cook all day, which became less and less. Just my 2 cents. Purchased the lower priced Pit Boss tailgater at Walmart...
