Got a few more adjustments to make before this project is complete. the right hand side was 6 inches larger than originally designed because i took an audible for the future option of a kegerator. So far, ive been smoking without a flue. Crazy right? need that up top.

this might be my next project. The smoker runs super hot, and ive learned how to bring it down a bit. I think if i replace the smoker grates with a custom piece of steel that has its own dome, i can get the job done. I'll post pics as the idea comes into form!
we're back in FL for the next 7-8 months and time to get the smoker cranking. Did a nice couple of baby backs last weekend. Gonna send some pics today :)
its all done. Just need to post some pics! Been too busy enjoying it. Going to be painting the brick white this weekend. once thats done I will post pics.
Update. We’re kind of in a holding pattern until we get the firebox angle. Iron frame finished.
I was planning on it being 19” wide 17” tall.
Fingers crossed. It comes back exactly as the measurements in 10 we put the gussets on the horizontal side that will fit into the brick.

Construction begins! Measurements are mostly done. I'm sure there will be some "FIO" Figure it out as we go.
Will send pics along the way and going to take notes and finalize the dimensions and steps for anyone who may want to re-create in the future.

thanks y'all for the warm welcome. I'd say that welcome was a perfect 220-225 degrees. We just decided to expand the base of the brick smoker, because, well y'all agree bigger is better.
