    MES 30 Questions - new owner

    Could be a dumb question, but I just assembled my MES 30 today. How do I verify the accuracy of my built in meat probe? Set the temp on the unit and sit the probe on a rack and check to see if it reads the same temp as what I set the unit to?

    Hello All, Joined the forum today from snowy New Hampshire. I am diving into the world of smoking meat this year. Up until now I have used my grill and make shift smoke boxes to cook ribs, wings, etc. Very eager and excited to start using my MES 40 inch smoker (once the weather will cooperate)...
