TQ=Tender Quick curing salt. Used for curing meat like Bacon etc. I don't know of a way to make your chips to dust, but either way I've had issues keeping my A mazen maze lit here in Colorado. I picked up one of their tubes and had no issues. Apparently the maze doesn't like our thin air...
My go to is to rub with Hughes and leave in the fridge for 4 plus hours. Then smoke them at 230 beer can style using Alder and Hickory. Usually throw on some wings rubbed with Hughes too. Quick, easy, and damn tasty.
Picked up one thinking it was a butt. Only found 1 post on this thing. So I was thinking injection and doing an Apple hickory mix in the MES mailbox at around 250, and taking it to 140, 145 ish IT. Thoughts from the minds of the thin blue smoke?

Sweet! I think I found some of Todd's apple you left, and seems to be burning great in another test run in the Mailbox after giving it some more air holes in the bottom under the tray.
Broke down and just ordered a tube. Interesting that both Cabelas and Gander Mountain are selling AMNPS. Seems a bad move if they don't work well above 5000'.
