Hey thanks for the info. I am a bit to lazy and way to busy to haul and maul my own wood. I think i found a place near watkinsville ga that has a large selection of different types of wood split and seasoned. Its a bit of a drive but 90 bucks for a truck bed full is a good deal. Thanks again
Fired up my new stick burner for the first time yesterday. I am relatively new to the smoking thing. I did a lot of research and the ribs came out tender and juicy but had a bit too much smoke for my taste. How do you keep from over smoking on a stick burner.
Been tinkering for a couple of years with some small wal mart type smokers. Just purchased my first "real" smoker a sick burner. First cook today. I have no idea what im doing but im sure i will figure it out eventually.
