Getting a yellow flame not blue on my Masterbuilt smoker. Does not appear to have a shutter to adjust the oxygen mix. Has anyone else had this problem and what was your solution. Has anyone retro fitted a 3rd party burner to the Masterbuilt

Have a question with regards to the 3-2-1 method of doing ribs
I have read a number of the posts which state that the first 3 hrs smoker temp to be 225; does this also apply to hrs 2 and 1

I have the Masterbuilt XL smoker and have major troubles getting the temps down to 120F for smoking Jerky
I am using a cast iron fry pan for the wood tray and hickory chucks for wood
My problem seems to be two fold
First to get the temp down to 120 I need to leave the door ajar about...

For seasoning I was using Hickory chips; but would like to use chunks for smoking
