Has anyone ever used a bowl,chopper to make jerky chew? When I was younger I remember getting jerked chew and it was so good. Anyone, just wondering if a bowl chopper could handle jerky.
So I have the weber smoker but the electric probe version. I have used it for sausage, turkey and jerky and it has worked fine, but I constantly have to monitor it. Not sure it is worth buying a new one now or just wait.....

Interesting, I never thought to stuff then twist. I always twisted as I stuffed. Just got a bowl chopper and am pumped to try my hand at making dogs. Just need deer season to start here in a couple of months.
Thinking about retinning the lid and bowl. Not sure it really needs it. Looks like the lid was welded at some point, but that doesn’t bother me. Maybe paint the body?

I just won at an auction a hobart 8141 chopper. How do you all move it around? The thing weighs a ton. I'd like to keep it in the basement and use it in the kitchen when the time comes. Any thoughts?
