    Jersey and bowl chopper

That's the same one I have! Did you get the lid and bowl retinned? did you paint yours as well? I just picked it up at an auction. Works great. Bowl and lid are in decent shape, but not like yours. Any idea what you can sell it for? (just debating if it is worth getting it retinned). Any...

    Jersey and bowl chopper

I'd be nervous that it would break the grinder due to how tough jerky is.

    New smoker

So I have the weber smoker but the electric probe version. I have used it for sausage, turkey and jerky and it has worked fine, but I constantly have to monitor it. Not sure it is worth buying a new one now or just wait.....

    New smoker

Looking to possibly upgrade from my grandfathers smoker. I am thinking I would like electric so I can set and forget (basically). But not sure how much I want to spend (I am thinking not a lot). I don't use it that often, just a couple of times a year, but I use to to make smoked saugages...

    Moose Hot Dogs (pic heavy)

Interesting, I never thought to stuff then twist. I always twisted as I stuffed. Just got a bowl chopper and am pumped to try my hand at making dogs. Just need deer season to start here in a couple of months.

New Toy to Play with....Bowl Chopper!

Thinking about retinning the lid and bowl. Not sure it really needs it. Looks like the lid was welded at some point, but that doesn’t bother me. Maybe paint the body?

New Toy to Play with....Bowl Chopper!

Thanks! I am in Pittsburgh, PA. Definitely the 8141, no attachment. I will post some pictures shortly. I think you recommended the place in Lima Ohio to get it retinned. Did you ship it there? (It is a 4 hour drive to take it there, if I were to do that) The bowl and lid aren't in bad...

still deciding on if its worth it. Sausage patties

Agreed, I actually went from a $99 one to a $200+ and that one broke, tried a slighty more expensive one and same thing. Went back to the $99 one and have had it since...

New Toy to Play with....Bowl Chopper!

I just won at an auction a hobart 8141 chopper. How do you all move it around? The thing weighs a ton. I'd like to keep it in the basement and use it in the kitchen when the time comes. Any thoughts?
