Well, it WOULD have worked, but you offset the "good boy points" of the quinoa with a handful of "there you go again" strikes in the cheese sauce, so it ended up being a wash ...

Thanks ... I mis-saw your photo ... it looked to me like the package was brand new and fresh ... as if nothing in, near, or on it had ever seen the inside of a smoker ... and that made no sense at all ... I appreciate the info on the videos ... I'll check them out.

As I read the recipe/directions, the meat has been first cured and then smoked/cooked to a "done" degree ... and yet you seem to talk about...

Well, I'm liking my new grill pretty well, so far ... impressed with the packaging and assembly directions, and impressed - so far - with my newbie attempts to make it work.
I would, however, NOT recommend following the grilling times and temps suggested in the "Guide" that comes with the grill...
