I have 2 Weber gas grills and I've tried smoking with them, but it's a compromise since I can't get below 300 F in the summer.
Looking for a smoker recommendation for a set and go to sleep piece of hardware:
Natural gas heat source.
Prefer to use pellets.
Meat - whole turkey, Boston butt...
I let it thaw in fridge so the top 1/8 inch was soft. Split it and froze half. Live 'n learn. Will cook tomorrow.
Planning on 12 hours @ 250. Will get up @ 4, have it on by 5. Let it rest for at least an hour. No fancy plans on serving - just have a few people over. Plan a nap in there...
