bmudd, those look awesome. For 4 years now a bunch of us get together one Saturday in March and do around 350lbs - 400lbs of brats, italians, and hungarien. Yea your right after eating the homemade ones,the store stuff doesn't taste is good.

I did a tip roast today it turned out good, but i used wood chips in my MES-30 and when i was done i looked in the wood tray and barely used any wood chips. about 10 percent was used up. I had the smoker up to 225. Just wondering if there's anything wrong and why it happened.
Yes i had the vent all they open. And yes i had a fairly good amount of white smoke coming out of the vent. It smelled good at the time, but i think next time i'll reduce the amount of wood chips i put in. Thanks for your help.
