    Probably a dumb question

Really?? No such thing as a dumb question. Best answer I can give though, is to try it every way you can think of until you find the one YOU like the best.( Or maybe the way your wife likes best, which is about the same right?)

    look what I got!!

What I did was put a set of bolts to hold my top grate 3 inches below the top rim of my barrel. I put another set 7 inches below that and I have two cook grates. I can put one at each position and use it as a grill or drop my fire into the bottom for a smoker.

My UDS Build. Love it so far!!

Got tired of trying to get a firebox to seal. All I wanted was something that I could control the temps on and get good flavor. In my opinion this has got to be the easiest smoker to use. As you can see I had a weber lid. It fits perfectly! The drum was a sealed top that had coolant that goes in...

    Six Smoked Chickens

Don't know how many of you can find it, however I used a Buffalo Rock brand Southern Spice Ginger Ale in a Chick-Can. Didn't like the Ginger Ale to drink, but the flavor of the chicken was GREAT!! I have to say that if you believe that the drinks don't leave a flavor in the meat then you are...

    Venison

I'll leave the bacon up to you. Personally I would rub with favorite rub, set smoker to 250 or so insert meat thermometer at proper time, pull off st 165 to 170 it and have one nice piece of venison for dinner. Use whatever wood you use for beef and you'll be fine. My experience has been that...

    Help!

Easiest thing is to push the meat probe through a small patatoe or onion letting the tip stick out far enough and set it on the cook grate and compare the two gauges. The other option is to see if you can take the factory one off and boil test it.

    My Weber Mods with question

OK it's been along time coming but I finally figured out a way past having to turn off my phone, remove the battery, and sim card, put sim card into adapter, transfer photos from sim card, and put phone back together again, so here is a pic of my Weber as she stands now.   The more I use it...
