looks great i wish i would have seen this before i changed mine to propane... but i'm going to build a new one next week should be fun... how much dose it cost to run per hour??? only bad thing is we have power surges and power outs often, would hate to spend the money and then have it damged.
Not sure what year but with mine I gutted everything... My insulation was covered in plastic sealed bags.... I removed the plastic and reinstalled it also had foam in it that I removed... Also any plastic parts and molding where removed and replaced with sheat metal... I think my frige was from...
The size for the price is a big part of it. $200 to $400 don't buy a very big smoker. doin it your self helps a guy feel good and with all the trial and eras it real has helped me understand how everything works...
Hi, everyone nice to meat yall I've been around for a few week's boy I'm I glad stop in it's been a rollercoaster ride for my first time I built a fridge smoker and with out ever smoking before and having no clue but what I found on the inter net but yall have been a great help....

Well no more electric propane burner installed on lowest setting all vent wide open 10 deg outside 150 deg within 10 min so will work good for the cold when it gets hot could be a change of hart again....
Well the only thing I didn't try was taken out the dimmer switch.... I've been looking for the bigger one I think they make one that is 900w I would like to try that one if I stick with electric..... I need to have some control....
