    very happy with turn out. They were super moist and everyone loved them. I just need to upgrade my smoker my lowes offset just doesnt cut it

    thanks for  the tips i amd going to not use water pan,   i just marinated them placed them in fridge now just waiting like a kid at christmas,, ill put up pics when its finished

    I was unable to get near my smoker for the last year . We just had a son so finding the time for my smoking wasnt there. Now im looking to hit the ground running i have my marinate and rub i want to use gonna look for internal temp of 145. Any suggestions on what to put in water pan besides water?

    thank you all i found brisket at walmart 12 to 15lb for 30 to 45$ sams double that i ve been using the walmart ones because of price and im trying to use my own rubs so for the price you cant beat it when i fell that i am getting better at it then ill go to costco or sam s  this is a great forum...

    THIS WAS MY FIRST SMOKE ON NEW CHAR BROIL SMOKER, DID THE BASIC MODS TO IT 8LB BRISKET SMOKE IT 11 HRS, CAME OUT GREAT , TASTED LIKE BUTTER WHEN IT WAS DONE, HOWEVER I WENT THROUGH 2 BIG BAGS OF CHARCOAL TRYN TO KEEP TEMP UP ANY IDEAS ON THAT IM ALL EARS,, LET ME KNOW WHAT YA'LL THINK OF BRISKET...
