    Cleaning the MBGF 560

I have mostly cooked over a pan, but when grilling at high temp, I know some crud will get down in the smoker, not just juices but ash. to anyone that has had their 560 longer, how are you cleaning up. I have aluminum foil on the grease cup and heat manifold, but what about food char that...

    Masterbuilt Gravity Feed

The cover is heavy duty canvas, so I think there shouldn't be any reason you couldn't keep it on the deck, covered.

First spare ribs on the MBGF 560

Howdy from deep in the heart....! I decided to grill some spare ribs over high heat like I did before I got smoke crazy. One reason was I decided to do the ribs too late to do a longer cooking method. First some EVOO and Jeff's Texas rub recipe, which I use on most everything. Then some...

    Masterbuilt Gravity Feed

I haven't had any issue with falling ash or embers. The ash pan is in a compartment that has a sealed door. I've had a little grease seep out from the cook area but nothing that would start a fire.

    Masterbuilt Gravity Feed

Mine didn't come on either, but Home Depot assembled it for free. It was a crew that goes from store-to-store. Some wires crossed. But if you can't find anything wrong with the wires do as Will Will (Will squared :emoji_laughing: ) said.

First cook on my Grilla Alpha

None at all. If I'm throwing a pool party for my wife's huge family, they're eatin' what I'm cookin' or they can bring their own. Or better yet, stay home. There's too darn many of them and my pool wasn't built for 50. Full disclosure, I'm an only child. Here in Austin, they have...

    Confined Smoke

Looks great, but a little lean for my taste. Not your fault and hopefully you like it lean. I'm a moist brisket kind of guy, but you gotta play with the cards you're dealt. At least you're able to get a brisket.

First cook on my Grilla Alpha

Nice! If I had gotten that much smoke from my pellet smoker, I probably would still have it.

    MasterBuilt Gravity 560!

I have owned a couple of Masterbuilt items before I got the 560. I was happy with them but didn't use to the extent of "heavy use". I just did my second cook last night and so far I am very happy with the 560. Although I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, I can't get the remote app to work...

    Some St Louis styles

Pork ribs are what I think my next cook will be. Why new grates? Didn't like the CI grates that came with the MGF560?

    MasterBuilt Gravity 560!

    What are you thankful for?

There are too many things to list them all. I'm very blessed! Family and faith I guess are the biggest, but very thankful for my first granddaughter. Robert, thank your daughters for their service. My only girl is a Marine and the prettiest one I've ever seen. She was planning on that as a...

What precautions are you taking for Corona Virus

Thank for the compliments on the grandbaby. I'm subjective, but she really is a special little lady. When people say how cute she is I reply that she takes after her grandpa, but honestly my wife and daughter are pretty adorable so I think they had something to do with it. We video call...

What precautions are you taking for Corona Virus

Thank you, sir. She loves her papa but is 1300 miles away in North Carolina which is where I traveled 5 times in the first year. That's one of the items I keep looking for. I would make my own, but the stores are out of isopropyl alcohol.
