    Steelhead.....Trout or salmon?

    I'd love to try fresh trout or salmon again, but not from around here!!! All Lake Ontario salmonoid species taste like absolute garbage in my book. I've tried Kings, Coho, Steelies, Browns and Lakers (on the grill only). Smothered them in fresh garlic, butter, lemon and white wine--still yuck...

    Oh... BTW--I had them deep-fryed out on the ice just last week, using Zaterain's original mix. WOW--are they good! Can't imagine not finding people to eat em up.

    Wow!!! That's one heck of a smoke ring on that brisket! I can't get anywhere close to that with my electric smoker. Is it even possible? Nice work!!!
